~ Thinking over some things that God has laid on my heart this year ~
...I want to help women - young or old - to realize that they were created for a PURPOSE...
She was created to be a reflection of Christ,
not a reflection of this world.
She was created to be trustworthy,
not to be deceitful.
She was created to work diligently,
not to let the day wither away.
She was created to be generous,
not to hold her hands shut to those in need.
She was created to be considerate,
not to make rash decisions.
She was created to be strong,
not to be weak and insecure.
She was created to be prosperous,
not to be stagnant.
She was created to hold her dignity,
not to toss out her identity.
She was created to look over her household,
not ignore all responsibilities.
She was created to fear the Lord,
not to be feared because of her charm.
She was created to love and be loved.
She was created by Christ.
I strive to be this woman. I desire for God to grow and stretch and mold me into the woman He has called me to be. I hope to show His love the best way I can and be a model for what true security and contentment can look like. I want to crush feelings of jealousy and unhealthy competition and help women see the bigger picture in their lives. I don't think I can do this because I'm perfect and holy, I know I can do this because I have a perfect and holy Savior who can use me to reach out to these women. I'll need His strength and guiding wisdom to know who to meet with and how to connect with them. I need His hands over the gifts and abilities He has given me to use for His kingdom. This could be easy at times and equally challenging other times, but I'm ready to start helping women to be all that they are called to be. My heart is to encourage them, not tear them down like our society is habitually doing already. I desire for women to look at the fruits of my life and see that I love and am loved by the Creator.
My prayer is that God grows this passion inside my heart and uses me boldly in this place. I wanna live out Proverbs 31 to the best of my abilities and I'd love to see women start to want Christ more than anything else. . .
